Billing FAQ
What’s the entry-level plan?
Section titled “What’s the entry-level plan?”Every world is on a plan; the entry-level Basic plan is the least expensive and is meant to keep solo, hobby-scale worlds affordable.
How am I billed?
Section titled “How am I billed?”Plans are billed monthly in USD through Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record. Yearly billing is on the way. Each world is a separate subscription — if you own several worlds, each one is billed on its own.
Who can manage billing for a world?
Section titled “Who can manage billing for a world?”Only the world’s owner. Collaborators, including those with editor access, can’t see or change billing settings.
How do I update my payment method or get an invoice?
Section titled “How do I update my payment method or get an invoice?”Open the world’s Billing settings and use the links there to manage your payment method and view invoices. Both open Lemon Squeezy’s secure customer portal, where your card details and full invoice history live.
How do I cancel?
Section titled “How do I cancel?”Cancel from the world’s Billing settings. Cancellation isn’t immediate — the world stays fully active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. If you change your mind before then, you can reactivate the subscription from the same screen and nothing changes.
What happens to my world after I cancel?
Section titled “What happens to my world after I cancel?”When the paid period ends without renewal, the world stops being active: access becomes read-only and then the world is suspended. Your data isn’t deleted when this happens — re-subscribing restores full access.
What if a payment fails?
Section titled “What if a payment fails?”Lemon Squeezy automatically retries failed payments and you’ll be prompted to fix the problem. Update your card from the world’s Billing settings to resolve it. If a subscription lapses entirely, the world becomes read-only and eventually inaccessible until payment is back in good standing — but your content is preserved, not erased.
Can I get a refund?
Section titled “Can I get a refund?”Refunds aren’t processed automatically. If you think you’re owed one, contact support and we’ll review it case by case.
I want to downgrade, but my world is over the lower plan’s limits.
Section titled “I want to downgrade, but my world is over the lower plan’s limits.”A downgrade only applies once the world fits within the target plan’s limits. You’ll be shown which limits are exceeded — too many collaborators, entities, or too much media — and you’ll need to reduce usage before the downgrade can take effect. See Upgrade or downgrade for details.
Can I move a world to a different plan later?
Section titled “Can I move a world to a different plan later?”Yes, at any time. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
