Sign-in methods
Orbismo gives you a few ways to sign in. You pick one when you create your account.
- Email and password — classic sign-in. Email verification is required before you can use the account. You can change your password later from your account settings; doing so signs you out on your other devices.
- Magic link — we email you a one-time link; click it to sign in. No password required.
- Passkey — sign in with your device’s biometrics or a hardware key. No password, and nothing to verify by email.
- Google, Discord, or GitHub — sign in with an account you already have from one of these providers.
You can add more methods to the same account later — the one you sign up with isn’t permanent.
Two-factor authentication
Section titled “Two-factor authentication”For an extra layer on top of a password, enable two-factor authentication (TOTP) from your account settings: scan the QR code with an authenticator app, and keep the backup codes somewhere safe in case you lose your authenticator.
Sessions
Section titled “Sessions”Sessions last 30 days with rolling renewal — every active day extends the session by another 30. See Sessions and devices for signing out.
