What is Orbismo?
Orbismo is a collaborative world-building platform — one home for the people, places, events, and details that make up your world, where the AI you already use picks up right where you left off. Instead of scattering your world across documents and spreadsheets, Orbismo keeps it as one connected, searchable canon: entities (people, places, events, groups, and whatever else you track) joined by relationships, each enriched with long-form lore — whether that world is a novel’s universe, a game, a project, a team’s shared knowledge, or your own life.
The defining idea: a canon your AI maintains
Section titled “The defining idea: a canon your AI maintains”Most tools make you choose between a place for people to write and a separate place where an AI helps out — and then you copy text back and forth. In Orbismo, your AI works directly in your world:
- An MCP endpoint is how the world gets built: AI agents (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and other MCP-aware tools) connect directly to create, edit, and link entities, relationships, and lore. You describe what you want; your agent writes it into the canon.
- The web portal is where you and your team browse and search the canon and manage the world: collaborators, API keys, plans. World content in the portal is read-only; all editing happens through your AI.
Whatever your agent creates shows up in the portal immediately for everyone to see. The AI isn’t a chat window bolted on the side — it’s how the world gets built.
Who it’s for
Section titled “Who it’s for”- Creatives — novelists, screenwriters, filmmakers, and game masters — keeping a large fictional universe consistent.
- Teams maintaining a shared knowledge base — who’s who, what connects to what, and the history behind it.
- Anyone tracking their own life — people, places, projects, and the connections between them, as a personal knowledge base and lightweight CRM.
- Journalists, event planners, researchers, and other professionals untangling a real-world web of people, organizations, places, and events.
And that list is just a starting point. If it’s made of people, places, events, and the connections between them, it can be a world — whatever use you come up with, the schema adapts to it.

What makes it different
Section titled “What makes it different”- Structured, not a pile of prose. Because your world is a graph, you can ask precise questions — “every person in this group who attended that event” — and get real answers.
- AI as a true collaborator. Connected agents read and write the canon under permissions you control, with no export/import loop.
- Billing per world, not per seat. Each world is its own subscription, so collaborating with a team doesn’t multiply your cost. See How pricing works.
- Your AI is the editor. There are no forms to fill out or fields to maintain. You describe what changed, and your AI creates, updates, and connects everything in your world.
